Abstract

For the calculation of technical premium in motor department different factors relating to the vehicle and the driver insured are considered. In this thesis we get an overview of the methods used by insurance companies for calculating technical premium. We study the number of losses and the size of them using known probability distributions. Finally, we used methods of generalized linear models to see the contribution of these factors in calculating the technical premium.
