The present master thesis has as main topic examining of the establishment of a special shipping company, called as the ‘‘Ναυτική Εταιρεία’’, which was intended to attract the Greek ship-owners who had fled to corporate types from abroad and lead them to a return of their capital and to the establishment of Greek type shipping companies in Greece. Therefore, for the purposes of this thesis, will be attempted a comprehensive analysis of the ‘‘Ναυτική Εταιρεία’’, reference to other types of shipping business and in particular legislation on import shipping company types, as well as analysis of the international offshore centers which are the main competitor of the Greek shipping corporate types. Finally, the present is divided into three chapters that extensively quoted the topic of the thesis.
