dc.description.abstract	Στο σημερινό επιχειρηματικό περιβάλλον, οι απαιτήσεις για ταχύτερη παροχή προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών, με μεγαλύτερη προστιθέμενη αξία και στη σωστή τοποθεσία όλο και αυξάνονται. Οι πελάτες αναζητούν καλύτερη ποιότητα, καλύτερο σχεδιασμό, καινοτομία, εύρος επιλογών και εξυπηρέτηση και επιθυμούν να ξοδέψουν λιγότερα χρήματα, προσπάθεια, χρόνο και φυσικά να ελαχιστοποιήσουν τους κινδύνους. Η ανάγκη για στρατηγικό σχεδιασμό στις επιχειρήσεις, έτσι ώστε να δημιουργήσουν και να διατηρήσουν ανταγωνιστικό πλεονέκτημα που θα τις καθιστά βιώσιμες και κερδοφόρες, είναι επιτακτική. Στην παρούσα εργασία εξετάζεται ο ρόλος και η σημασία που διαδραματίζει η λειτουργία της εφοδιαστικής αλυσίδας στην επίτευξη και διατήρηση ανταγωνιστικού πλεονεκτήματος μίας νοσοκομειακής μονάδας, αλλά και γίνεται η περιγραφή της ανάπτυξης της στρατηγικής σημασίας και του ρόλου της εφοδιαστικής αλυσίδας, η οποία σαν μία λειτουργική δραστηριότητα έχει σκοπό την υποστήριξη της επιχειρηματικής και κατά συνέπεια της επιχειρησιακής στρατηγικής. Μέσω της βέλτιστης διαχείρισης των πόρων που διαθέτει, η εφοδιαστική αλυσίδα μπορεί να συμβάλλει σημαντικά στην ανάπτυξη ικανοτήτων και δεξιοτήτων που θα έχουν σαν αποτέλεσμα την δημιουργία ανταγωνιστικού πλεονεκτήματος. Επίσης, υπολογίσθηκαν τα περιγραφικά στατιστικά των υλικών της νεφρολογικής κλινικής “Μεσόγειος” και αναλύθηκαν. Παράλληλα, γίνεται κατηγοριοποίηση των υλικών της κλινικής με τη χρήση της μεθόδου ABC, ώστε να υπάρχει ταξινόμηση του κόστους του κάθε υλικού και αυτό να έχει ως αποτέλεσμα τη βελτίωση της λειτουργίας και των διαδικασιών του νοσοκομείου. Η μέθοδος ταξινόμησης ABC επιτυγχάνει την αμεσότερη απεικόνιση των οικονομικών χαρακτηριστικών της μονάδας και βοηθάει και υποστηρίζει αποτελεσματικά τα στελέχη στη λήψη των αποφάσεων, όπως, στην τιμολόγηση των προϊόντων ή υπηρεσιών, στη διαχείριση των πελατειακών σχέσεων, στο μείγμα των προϊόντων που πρέπει να παράγονται ώστε να είναι κερδοφόρα η επιχείρηση, και στο σχεδιασμό των προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών. Το σύστημα ABC δημιουργεί τις κατάλληλες προϋποθέσεις, ώστε οι επιχειρήσεις να είναι σε θέση να κατανοήσουν την σχέση αιτίας και αποτελέσματος του κόστους σε αντιστοίχιση με τα προϊόντα, υπηρεσίες, πελάτες και επιχειρησιακές διαδικασίες, και τα στελέχη να κερδίζουν, μοναδικής σημασίας, εσωτερική πληροφόρηση όσον αφορά τις εσωτερικές λειτουργίες της υγειονομικής και οικονομικής μονάδας.	el

dc.description.abstractEN	In today's business environment, demands for faster delivery of products and services with greater added value and at the right location are increasing. Customers looking for better quality, better design, innovation, range of options and services and want to spend less money, effort, time, and of course to minimize the risks. The need for strategic planning in business, in order to create and maintain a competitive advantage that will make them viable and profitable, is imperative. In the present study the role and importance of a supply chain, that operates in achieving and maintaining competitive advantage of a hospital unit, is examined, but it is also presented the description of the development of the strategic importance and the role of the supply chain, which as a functional activity aims to support business activity and consequently the business strategy. Through the optimal management of the resources available, the supply chain can contribute significantly to the development of abilities and skills that will result in the creation of competitive advantage. It is also calculated the descriptive statistics of the materials of the nephrology clinic “Mesogeios” and they are analyzed. Moreover, it is carried out the categorization of the clinic’s materials using the ABC method, so there is the cost classification of each material and this has the effect of improving the hospital’s operation and procedures. The ABC classification method achieves more direct representation of the financial characteristics of the unit and helps efficiently and supports managers in making decisions, such as the pricing of products or services, the management of customer relationships, the mix of products to be produced, so the business can be profitable, and the design of products and services. The ABC system creates the appropriate conditions for enterprises to be able to understand the relationship between cause and cost effect in correspondence with the products, services, customers and business processes, and the executives earn internal information of unique importance, regarding the inner workings of the health and economic unit.	el
