Abstract

In this thesis we examine the power consumption of 4th generation networks. We implement a Manhattan mobility model in order to simulate the movement of the users on these networks. Finally, based on previous research we use pre-defined network schemes, implement the Manhattan mobility algorithm on them and evaluate the network’s performance.
