Migration and population dispersion: many personal stories behind these words. Associated with courage, nostalgia, readiness to risk one and hope in search of opportunities. Migrants are characterized by the willingness to live and work away from their country of birth and origin, looking for doors to a new life, a new identity, a street in interculturalism. Health: It is considered the most important constitutionally guaranteed social right, since it is the basis of the exercise of other civil and political rights. Right to public health has every person on earth, regardless of gender, country of origin or economic status. The purpose of this study, is an association of the two terms together, the relationship that migration and migrant health in light of the economic effects caused to the Greek Health System as well as to evaluate the degree of satisfaction of Greek immigrants from health services.
The study was conducted during the period November 2014 to May 2015, using an anonymous questionnaire of 40 questions. The population studied were composed of 80 immigrants 'first generation' legal residence status in the prefecture Attikis. Statistical analysis of the sample population was performed using the statistical program STATA.
Access to and use of health services by immigrants is essential to effectively address the health problems of immigrants, to improve their quality of life as well as to ensure public health in Greece. These factors can significantly contribute to better integration of immigrants into the Greek Health System.
