PostersAbstract
The creation of posters is an activity which presents many educational benefits for
students of any age group. One of the major benefits found, is the development of
students cooperative skills. However, there are not many systems that support
collaborative creation of digital posters, and the available systems use technologies
that gradually cease to be supported by their browsers. In this context, a digital poster
creation tool was designed and developed. The system’s end users are primary and
secondary school students. The system fully supports the possibility of collaboration,
integrating the latest Web development technologies. As an evaluation method of this
system, the empirical evaluation was selected and implemented, with main
participants Greek primary school students. The evaluation showed very promising
results.
