The purpose of this study is to analyze the remote service freight forwarder as a key factor in the circuit of the charter. The methodology of the project was based on conducting research. Research was conducted through searching literature in books, articles in magazines, and on official websites about both the historical facts of crisis, the ways it treated and also current market conditions, recent developments in the cost of shipping services, recent trends and implications in the market and also how the whole industry was affected.
The main findings of the study showed that today shipping is on a decline due to industrial and consumer crisis. Moreover, the imbalance between demand and supply, which as the years go by shows more and more diferentiation, that increased supply and reduced demand justifies the industry crisis.
