Investigation of operation and performance of a scientific center
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the Greek market with a view to establish the function and the efficiency of the scientific center. This center will have the ability to provide applied scientific knowledge and to cover in detail the needs of the market. Competition and human resources combined with increased demands in applied scientific knowledge, are just some of the many items discussed below It is, therefore, an analysis of various parameters that leads to logical conclusions. In this thesis examined possible scenarios that affect the evolution of the investment. Moreover, the sensitivity analysis in conjunction with the assessment of economic indicators will provide answers as to the viability of the project. Finally, follows Swot analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and market analysis based on the five competitive forces of Porter. This methodology combined with financial analysis, intends to provide an answer to if it really there is a benefit or not by the establishment of this project.
