Study and survey of patient's degree of satisfaction after providing care in greek private hospital

Abstract
The measurement of patient’s satisfaction aims to draw conclusions about the quality of services for palliative care provided in the hospitals. This task is nowadays necessary and inevitable.
The purpose of the research is to investigate the degree of patient’s satisfaction from the palliative care of health services. Its objectives are the formulation of proposals that will be related to current research conclusions and will contribute to the improvement of the health services.
Material- method: For the assessment of satisfaction, a standardized patient questionnaire was used, fulfilled by 100 patients at the period from August to September 2013. Participation to the research was optional and the patients were informed of its aims.
Results: With respect to the total care offered, the majority of patients were satisfied beyond average from health services of the nursing personnel and also from the medical personnel. The patients were satisfied enough from the health services but they didn’t know anything for the palliative care with alternatives therapies to cut down the pain.
