The present work was conducted on a research field that nowadays its importance becomes more and more of a trend. Emotional intelligence is the ability that allows as to give logic at our emotion state in order to use it effectively. Our social life, in every aspect, is affected by certain factors like self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, social skills, factors that affect more in the efficiency of the emotional intelligence and less in the intelligence. During this work we tried to examine the emotional intelligence and with which ways a leader can contribute in the smooth and effective operation of an enterprise. The research on the literature that was done, leads to the conclusion that if the leader develop s a satisfying working environment it will result in the rise of the team spirit, as well as in the increased productivity, with self and team benefits. A leader with a vision could benefit from a democratic model and from emotional intelligence effect to stimulate employees and create a fruitful and thriving enterprise.
