Abstract
The most important of the Community is the quality of life. The society began to realize the major problems of health system in these years and the high costs. These two effects have led to the development of prevention and disease management. The dysfunction and the inefficiency that was observed in the sector of health rendered necessarily the introduction of Information and Communication Technologies and the growth of e-health applications of disease management. The application of «e-health» as the electronic Health Record, the smart card, the tele-health, the information systems, the evolution of internet give the opportunity for better health services with greater access to health knowledge, by making patients fully informed, earning the greatest benefits. In the present study we make an effort to present disease management through e-health applications the best practices of e-health that are applied by countries in European Union and analyzing the profits and the problems the result from the application of such kind of programs in health sector.
