The purpose of this thesis is the maritime cluster, the case of Greek maritime cluster and the analysis of the cruise industry. First, we will present the theoretical background of the cluster of operations by analyzing the content, the reasons and stages of development etc. Next, focus on implementation of the cluster in shipping, analyzing each particular sector and market of it and giving examples of this, such as the maritime cluster of Netherlands and European Union. Next, we will examine the Greek maritime cluster, which will indicate its contents, the branches of it, etc. It will be also analyzed the cruise industry with an emphasis on Greek cruise market and the impact of the full removal of cabotage. In conclusion, it will capture all the conclusions drawn from this thesis, as it tries the development policies and measures to strengthen the Greek maritime cluster and cruise, given their importance for the Greek economy.
