Abstract
From the first years of sea transport of goods, the concerned parties were trying to find ways to protect their interests. The owners of the cargo succeeded to be covered by certain risks during the maritime adventure. Over the years and after the development of maritime trade, the security of cargo became necessary. All the procedures until completion of the insurance contract must be strictly followed
in order not to be caused any problem during the carriage of cargo. The person
concerned for the cargo insurance, has several options as regards the type of insurance
which will select, on the basis of the premium he will pay and the risks which will
include in the contract. When a requirement on the side of the party insured, after loss or damage of cargo, there are several organizations in order to settle the requirement. Both the market of the insurance of cargo and the market of requirements, they are operating with the right way so that the parties concerned to obtain the best possible insurance for their goods without being exposed to unjustified losses towards the insurers.
