Abstract
This dissertation consists of three main parts. In the first part, the meaning of the Public-Private Partnerships and how they are put into practice generally on the area of the port and especially on abroad. In the second part, the major Greek commercial ports, their history, infrastructure and development on the side of partnerships applied to them. In the third part, a further analysis is given on the largest, until now, partnership taking place on the largest Greek port is made. Based on foreign data and the economical incident, a conclusion is extracted.
