Abstract
The study examines the importance and role of Reverse Logistics in the Fast Fashion sector and the impact on sustainability and environmental footprint. In the introduction, the purpose of the study is highlighted, which is to understand Reverse Logistics strategies and analyze their impacts. Particular emphasis is given to the role of Fast Fashion companies, which face intense environmental challenges due to rapid production and consumption. In the theoretical framework, an introduction is made to the concepts of logistics and supply chain. The basic parameters and functions of the supply chain are examined, and its structure and implementation stages are analyzed. This is followed by the definition of the backwards supply chain, its correlation with the forward supply chain and its importance in the circular economy and sustainability, particularly in the context of Fast Fashion. The reverse supply chain section describes the key processes, with particular reference to its connection to the circular economy and the importance of social responsibility in reducing the environmental footprint. In addition, the role of reverse logistics in Fast Fashion companies is examined, with examples of strategies implemented in the industry. The environmental footprint section analyzes the impacts of production and consumption in the fashion sector and examines strategies to reduce these impacts through Reverse Logistics. This is followed by a case study analyzing H&M's sustainability and reverse logistics strategy, including the company's recycling initiatives and social responsibility. The study ends up with conclusions and suggestions for future research on the implementation of reverse logistics and circular economy strategies, such as assessing the economic impact, the impact on local communities and exploring new clothing recycling technologies.
