In modern times and especially in Greece, the lack of cultural events has become a major
phenomenon. The most significant example of this subject concerns music festivals. Concerts,
local events and festivals tend to eclipse gradually. If we take a look at the past, we can observe
that those events tended to be extremely frequent. This may have occurred due to the absence
of web devices, which has limited social contact. The traditional deals that were standard in the
live industry, such as the guarantee versus a percentage deal of having the artist earning eighty
percent to ninety-five percent of net income alongside a guarantee or minimum fee, may need to
change. This issue triggered the creation of an application for listeners, bands and stages, where
they can view and create live events. Furthermore, each user can be noted whenever a new
festival takes place and receive information about the lineups, dates, locations as well as the
bands themselves. In this report there will be displayed: the aspects of the application and the
user interaction methods, using specific examples and explanations. Finally, there will be a
conclusive chapter and ideas about how the application can evolve.
