This thesis explores the contribution of technologies such as Blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT) to the transformation of the supply chain. Through theoretical analysis, scientific documentation, and examples from both the global and Greek markets, it examines how these technologies enhance traceability, efficiency, integrity, and security within logistics processes. Key applications are presented, including smart inventory monitoring, delivery routing using sensors and GPS, autonomous transportation systems, and the implementation of smart contracts via blockchain. Furthermore, the study investigates the challenges associated with implementation costs, cybersecurity, data management, and system interoperability. In conclusion, the integration of IoT and Blockchain into the supply chain is no longer optional but a necessary tool for enhancing the sustainability, flexibility, and competitiveness of modern enterprises.
