Abstract
This dissertation is about the complete making of a video game using the Game Engine Unity that is both 2D in design and has elements of the “Roguelite” genre. The development of this game was made in Unity Real-Time Development Platform with the use of C# in regard to scripts. This dissertation marks my first attempt at making a complete game and has a goal to give clarity on the difficulties and requirements of making a video game.
For the completion of this dissertation a variety of free assets from Unity’s marketplace were used.
