This scientific paper deals with the implementation of a web application which aims at digital interaction between students, teachers and the secretariat as well as the centralization of all users' actions in one application (updating grades, uploading files, creating tests, making appointments). There are various applications where users can, for example, see their grades (Students Unipi, UniStudents), take notes and upload assignments (Gunet2, Thales), however, they are not currently given the opportunity to perform these actions in any system, and also to be examined on the same platform.
The implementation of this specific application was carried out with one of the most modern and most widespread MVC Frameworks, that of .NET Core 8.0 (C#). This provides a wealth of features but one of the most organized development environments, since it provides several tools and rich Documentation. In order to make it easier to understand and simplify the requirements related to its creation, certain diagrams that were implemented regarding the design of the application and the identification of the database entities that make it up, as well as the relationships between them, played a dominant role.
Finally, this online distance learning platform that will be analyzed extensively in this document offers several features and functions to users, including administrators and professors as well as students of the University of Piraeus.
