| dc.description.abstract | Ο Διεθνής Ναυτιλιακός Οργανισμός (ΙΜΟ), ο οποίος αναγνωρίζεται ευρέως ως μια εξαιρετικά σημαντική τροποποίηση των κανονισμών για τα καύσιμα, είχε σημαντικό αντίκτυπο στη ναυτιλιακή βιομηχανία και την παγκόσμια οικονομία, οδηγώντας τελικά στη μεταφορά του κόστους στους τελικούς καταναλωτές. Η εφαρμογή αυτών των προτύπων έγινε σταδιακά περίπλοκη κατά τη διάρκεια της επιδημίας Covid-19, λόγω της επιβολής περιορισμών στις επισκέψεις σε λιμένες και στις λειτουργίες δεξαμενισμού για θαλάσσια σκάφη. Υπήρχαν επιχειρησιακές προκλήσεις που παρατηρήθηκαν στις αλλαγές πληρώματος, τις επιθεωρήσεις και το drydocking. Η παγκόσμια επιδημία είχε τόσο θετικές όσο και αρνητικές επιπτώσεις στη ναυτιλιακή βιομηχανία και στο παγκόσμιο εμπόριο στο σύνολό του. Αυτή η μελέτη αναλύει περαιτέρω τόσο τις θετικές όσο και τις αρνητικές επιπτώσεις της παγκόσμιας κρίσης. | el |

| dc.description.abstractEN | The International Maritime Organization (IMO), which is widely recognized as a highly impactful modification to fuel regulations, had a significant impact on the shipping industry and the global economy, ultimately leading to the transfer of costs to final consumers. The implementation of these standards became progressively complex during the Covid-19 epidemic, due to the imposition of restrictions on port visits and drydock operations for maritime vessels. There were operational challenges being observed in crew changes, inspections, and drydocking. The global epidemic has had both positive and negative impacts on the shipping industry and worldwide trade as a whole. This study further analyzes both the positive and negative impacts of the global crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. | el |
