The environment is extremely important for human existence and at the same time,
entrepreneurship is recognised as vital for economic growth. To the extent that entrepreneurship
is of great importance, individuals and organizations need to consider the consequences and
impacts of their business activities on the environment, which leads to the concept of Green
Entrepreneurship.
Green Entrepreneurship is considered as one of the most important drivers for the green
economy. Due to sustainable development issues, the concept of Green Entrepreneurship is
gaining significant momentum. In this thesis, an exploratory approach has been adopted which
includes review and analysis of various research papers on green economy and
entrepreneurship. The paper examines the key concepts of green entrepreneurship, highlights
the actions and incentives surrounding it and analyses the importance of its financing.
The purpose of this paper, is to review, explore and integrate current views based on a
questionnaire to be developed in the field with a view to clarifying the relevant concepts in the
context of green entrepreneurship.
In summary, the transformation from a climate-distorting economy to a climate-protecting
economy also creates financing needs. The great green transition is a unique opportunity to
pursue policies for a new and sustainable development regime, concluding that it is necessary
to see green entrepreneurship, rather than corporate development, as a multidimensional form
consisting of multiple factors for overall development
