The process of project management is now essential in the business of
21st century business. It is a process that brings together the requirements of the team
within a company or even its customers and transforms it into the
into measurable results. To enable this
process to be effective since it involves the coordination of many
of people and actions, a person is needed to take on the role of coordinator
and that is the project manager. This paper firstly tries through
literature to present in a simple and methodical way all the theoretical framework
around the process of project management and the steps that encompass it
and the reasons that give it strategic importance for a company. Then through
examples in a case study are used to give evidence of its application in
practice.
