Communication between school and family is a particularly important aspect of the educational process. It has been widely examined by a significant number of relevant studies. The purpose of this dissertation is to investigate whether new technologies related to ICT have affected this communication. Towards this direction, a relevant questionnaire was distributed to primary school teachers, who are responsible for handling communication with parents from the school's side. The questionnaire mainly investigated whether the use of ICT from the teacher resulted in a more effective communication with parents. According to the findings obtained from the analysis of the responses, a positive correlation was found between the use of ICT and the effective communication with parents. The findings of the present study confirm that new technologies have improved the communication between school and parents, while demonstrating the significance of securing availability of ICT related resources to all schools.
