The independent living of all individuals is a basic demand of a society. People with disabilities have the right to equal education and employment. The United Nations Convention on Persons with Disabilities in 2006 contributed to the recognition of the rights of persons with disabilities, however, discrimination is found in various aspects of society. The opportunity of disabled people into access to Higher Education and into labor market is a very important factor for their independent living. The policies implemented by a country directly affect the living conditions of people with disabilities. It is therefore important that policies include the integration of graduates with disabilities into society.
