In the digital age we are leaving, all educational units are trying to develop new learning methods using various digital technologies, the utilization of which in the educational process is an innovation for the school units. A key principle for achieving innovation in education through technology is for all stakeholders to collaborate to bring about change, based on clear objectives. There is a need for a change in established practices in schools and a systemic change in the way innovation is managed.

In addition, the research study explored and analyzed the views of teachers, primary and secondary education, on the use of technological innovation, their level of familiarity, benefits and how they can integrate innovative technologies in the educational process. The quantitative method of data collection was followed using a questionnaire in a sample of 161 individuals.
The conclusions of the study show that there is a rapid digital development in the field of education and familiarization of the sample with the concepts of innovative technologies, but without considering themselves digital connoisseurs. Regarding their benefits in the educational process there is a highly positive view from the whole sample, but this did not seem to be enough to integrate them to a large extent in the learning process. Finally, preconditions for their integration are the strengthening of the material and technical infrastructures of the schools, the training of the teachers and the development of appropriate educational material and software to support these technologies.
