This particular thesis work provides an analysis of a maritime claim occurred by the delivery of a damaged cargo. Despite the fact that the claim was based on fraudulent set of Bills of Landing, due to the fact that any subsequent financial security could not
be granted/secured by the ship owners or its P&I Club these parameters led to the fact that the vessel was arrested and auctioned into public sale. During this thesis, the relevant processes as the chartering, the operations, the insurance and the legal prospects are being analyzed step by step.
