This paper deals initially with the theoretical background of quality in general level but also more specifically in the field of health, and moreover the evaluation of healthcare is reported. Respectively is approached the significance of innovation in the enterprising world and in the healthcare branch more specifically. Afterwards is analyzed the importance that quality in healthcare has, the strategies that are followed so that it is achieved and it is promoted, as the role and the importance that have the equitable exercise of administration and management in this sector. Finally, there are presented important and innovative practices that followed organizations that are activated in healthcare and the results that these had.
