Abstract

Lean Management applies to production when healthcare service organizations face situations arising from a variety of stakeholders. As a result, simple thinking is more often applied to healthcare to increase productivity and reduce unnecessary time, as well as to improve customer and employee satisfaction. Lean Management in Health Services offers leaders a lot of opportunities to set up process-based health-based professional organizations. Before starting to apply simple thinking to health services, it is important to analyze the current state of the hospital and assess the suitability of the planned activities of simple thinking. Lean Management essentially aims to create value without waste. The activities that add value to the client are expanded and coordinated in the best way. Non-added value or unnecessary activities are eliminated. This results in efficient and efficient processes with a strong focus on customers. This basic principle of Lean Management can also be applied to the specific conditions of a hospital or a clinic and thus to the needs of patients. Therefore, based on this knowledge, optimization goals, project timing, methods and accompanying change management can be tailored to the specific needs of a hospital. In conclusion, the Lean Management authorities keep the promise of reducing or eliminating time, money and energy lost to healthcare, creating a system that is effective.
