The purpose of this thesis is the Financial Modeling of a shipping company listed on an international stock exchange via an Excel spreadsheet in order to evaluate company´s financial performance, organizational structure and the results based on it´s financial statements.
Also, a comparative study with the shipping industry (benchmarking) will enable us to study the financial performance of subject company compared to other companies operating in the shipping sector.
