Συγκριτική αξιολόγηση του νομοθετικού πλαισίου διαχείρισης υδατικών πόρων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και της Ελλάδας
The objective of this thesis is to present a comparative evaluation of the legislative work of the European Union and Greece for the management of water resources. Initially an introduction to concepts, because the water can be seen as a natural resource, a financial asset and as an environmental element, according to the main criterion and type of management. The management of water resources is analyzed since water resources are not unlimited. And indeed in many parts of the world are not sufficient and their failure constitutes a major obstacle to development. For this reason, the European Union adopted a framework Directive on water, Directive 2000/60 / EC, setting goals to achieve good water quality. The Directive was the foundation stone for the management of water resources as well as all subsequent instructions issued by the European Union were based on the Framework Directive on water. In Greece the management of water resources began with Law 1739/1987, which was replaced by Law 3199/2003 by which was align Directive 2000/60 / EC into Greek law. After presenting the main legislative elements of the European Union and Greece is a comparative evaluation of the two legal frameworks, with emphasis on implementation problems in Greece.
