An educational approach to technical subjects and learner difficulties by means of specialized software programme
The purpose of the present thesis is the development of an educational application as a teaching tool for multiple courses via computer technology. The application consists of two sections. In the first section, we have tried to point out possible learner disabilities by means of targeted multiple choice tasks. In the second section, simultaneous teaching and learner assessment is aimed again by using multiple choice questions. More specifically, the first section involves a study of innovative techniques implemented by certified diagnostic institutions of learning disabilities, followed by a study of related bibliography. The second section involves a combination of the Microsoft Visual Studio software program, the C# programming language, MySQL Workbench and part of the teaching material included in the subject of Internal Combustion Engines Ι, taught in the curriculum of the field of Auto Engineering in Technical Vocational Highschools.
