Μοντελοποίηση χρήστη σε προσαρμοστικό σύστημα διδασκαλίας μουσικής
Music Theory and Music in general is another cognitive field that can be taught by a computer. Aid to this is Music’s representation potential in multiple forms while multiple theories have been proposed and many applications have been developed since the end of the 70s. Not much has been written about user modeling based on criteria that belong to the specific cognitive field. On this thesis a model of User Modeling using Visual and Aural Capability is proposed, through a Music Theory learning System which provides text, multimedia and multiple choice questions with Help. Modeling is implemented through a two-level value tree with variable weights and the values are calculated from both Users ' Stereotypes and System Interaction to the system. In addition, the Users are divided in levels by a calculated grade and so exercises adapt to each user’s level. Furthermore, Customization and Additions can be made, such as resembling an Authoring Tool.
