The objectives of the specific report are the construction and competitiveness of non-metallic ships. The term non-metallic ships, corresponds to ships made by wood or plastic. The construction of those ships depends on the cause that they serve. The fact that wooden ships are traditional and handmade generates the admiration of buyers and desire to have them. However in compare with plastic ships, wooden ships involve a very expensive constructional process that narrows the range of buyers that could afford them. Evidently wooden ships are a special category that their market competitiveness depends not only to the economic factor, but also to some additional factors as the buyers' love for the specific products that enhances the desire to have them.
