The main purpose of this research 1s the study of economics with reference to the main obstetrical health services in Athens. The applied method is the observation of primary and supplementary services as new economic effects which are discussed. Features such as demand and supply, public and private health services are deeply elaborated and explicated in regard to their action on obstetrical health duties and services. The major cause for the implementation of a study like this is the scarcity of financial, statistical and economical data in connection with obstetrical departments. Through this attitudinal paradigms and vigorous products the superiority of the private health sector is easily and strongly confirmed. The final product is also demonstrates that the most crucial element for the efficiency and effectiveness in health services is the pursuit of total quality management in every aspect of obstetrical and health services.
