Abstract
In this dissertation, the evaluation of Primary Health Care system in Greece is attempted, as it is approached by its own stuff. The aim is to detect the necessity and the importance of Primary Health Care system, the evaluation of its effectiveness, as well as to record proposals in order to improve Primary Health Care services. The above empirical research comes with an overview of the legislative framework for Primary Health Care in Greece, as it has been shaped since the early 1980s until today, as well as with an extensive critical literature review based on theoretical and empirical research findings, publications and books.
