Health policy for the immigrants. The example of Achaia.

In the first chapter becomes a first briefing with regard to the basic terms that we will meet in the text. Is analyzed the significance of immigration and becomes the segregation depending on the arrangement of eve of immigrants in a country. Also becomes a historical retrospection of immigratory currents mainly from the 20th century and then, in entire Europe. In the second chapter becomes report on the arrangement that is in effect in the European Union with regard to the access of immigrants in the services of health. Are reported their rights with base the being in effect International conventions and become a comparison of 5 European countries with problem of immigration, including Greece with regard to the rights of legal and illegal immigrants, the rights of their families but we also learn about the way with which the service‘s providers are paid. Also is reported analytically the being in effect legislation in Greece round the possibility of access of immigrants in the services of health. Finally becomes report in the connection between immigration policy and social protection and are reported the institutions that provide services of providence in Greece. In the third chapter is sketched out the profile of health of immigrants and it becomes report in the mainer illnesses that present the immigrants with base the inquiring work that is reported. Are reported the organizations and the services that provide cares of health in the immigrants and the way with which they are covered actuarial. Of course the problems that result from the black work of immigrants are recorded as well as the question that results from the help or not in the actuarial system of country. In the fourth chapter are recorded the rights of immigrants in Greece depending on their arrangement of eve in our country, but also the problems that face in their access in the services of health as well as the consequences that are created in the public health. The fifth chapter concerns the prefecture of Achaia. Becomes a retrospection in the immigratory current in the prefecture as well as in the reasons where placing in basic destination of concrete nationalities also in the consequences that are created in the public health. Is analyzed the problem that is created in the city because the connection of harbour with Italy (Patra is the gate to the West) and is recorded the institutions that provide cares of health in the immigrants mainly in the city of Patras. With base the elements that were granted by the 6th YPE we present visits of the foreigners in the hospitals of prefecture, for the months of January until September 2011, but also the expense of hospitals of so much 6th sanitary region, what the prefecture of Achaia for the above interval. Finally in the sixth chapter becomes report in the measures and the policies that it will be supposed to takes the state in order that not only are improved the infrastructures but also are raised the inequalities of access in health services. Also are reported the basic beginnings that owe to condition an immigration policy. Naturally are reported also the three basic priorities that will be supposed to present the measures of policy. The registration and evaluation of particular problems that face the immigrants, the facilitation of access in the services of health and finally the necessity for particular and cultural determined behaviors.
