Ένταξη της τεχνολογίας στην εκπαίδευση γενικότερα με συστήματα LMS και οι επιπτώσεις στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία

| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία εξετάζει την ένταξη της τεχνολογίας στην εκπαίδευση, με έμφαση στη χρήση των Συστημάτων Διαχείρισης Μάθησης (Learning Management Systems – LMS) και στη συμβολή τους στη μαθησιακή διαδικασία. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση του τρόπου με τον οποίο τα LMS αξιοποιούνται στην εκπαιδευτική πράξη, καθώς και η καταγραφή των απόψεων των συμμετεχόντων σχετικά με τη χρήση τους. Στο θεωρητικό μέρος παρουσιάζονται βασικές παιδαγωγικές θεωρίες μάθησης, όπως ο κονστρουκτιβισμός και η βιωματική μάθηση, καθώς και σύγχρονες διδακτικές προσεγγίσεις που σχετίζονται με την αξιοποίηση της τεχνολογίας στην εκπαίδευση. Επίσης, αναλύεται ο ρόλος των LMS ως ψηφιακών εργαλείων που υποστηρίζουν την οργάνωση του μαθήματος, την επικοινωνία και τη συνεργασία μεταξύ εκπαιδευτικών και εκπαιδευόμενων. Η έρευνα πραγματοποιήθηκε μέσω ερωτηματολογίου στην πλατφόρμα Google Forms και συμμετείχαν 42 άτομα. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι οι περισσότεροι συμμετέχοντες χρησιμοποιούν συχνά τα LMS και διατηρούν θετική στάση απέναντι στη χρήση τους. Οι πλατφόρμες αξιοποιούνται κυρίως για την οργάνωση του μαθήματος, την ανάρτηση εκπαιδευτικού υλικού, την ανάθεση εργασιών και την επικοινωνία μεταξύ εκπαιδευτικών και εκπαιδευόμενων. Ωστόσο, καταγράφηκαν δυσκολίες που σχετίζονται με τεχνικά προβλήματα, περιορισμένη τεχνική υποστήριξη και ανάγκη για μεγαλύτερη επιμόρφωση στη χρήση των ψηφιακών εργαλείων. Συνολικά, τα ευρήματα δείχνουν ότι τα LMS αποτελούν σημαντικό εργαλείο για τη σύγχρονη εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία και μπορούν να συμβάλουν ουσιαστικά στην υποστήριξη της μάθησης. | el |

| dc.description.abstractEN | This thesis examines the integration of technology in education, with particular emphasis on the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and their impact on the learning process. The aim of the study is to investigate how LMS are utilised in educational practice and to explore users’ views regarding their contribution to teaching and learning. The theoretical section presents key pedagogical theories of learning, such as constructivism and experiential learning, as well as contemporary instructional approaches related to the use of technology in education. In addition, the role of LMS is analysed as digital tools that support lesson organisation, communication and collaboration between educators and learners. The research adopted a quantitative approach and was conducted through a questionnaire distributed via the Google Forms platform. A total of 42 participants took part in the study, and the data were analysed using percentages, frequencies and charts. The findings of the research showed that most participants use LMS frequently and maintain a generally positive attitude towards their use. Digital platforms are mainly utilised for lesson organisation, uploading educational material, assigning tasks and facilitating communication between educators and learners. At the same time, participants recognised that LMS can contribute to the management of the teaching process and support the learning experience. However, certain difficulties were also identified, mainly related to technical problems, limited technical support and the need for further training regarding the use of digital platforms. Overall, the findings suggest that LMS constitute an important tool in contemporary education, while also highlighting the need for better support and more effective use of their capabilities within the educational process. | el |
