Abstract

The expansion of the tutoring center to an online educational model represents a strategic opportunity to broaden its reach, modernize its organizational structure, and respond to the growing needs of students across Greece, especially those in remote areas with limited access to academic support services. The analysis of the political, economic, social, and technological context shows that digital education has become a fertile ground for institutions with established experience, capable of offering quality and personalized teaching in an environment where free but less reliable solutions abound. This expansion project builds on the center’s history, its academic prestige, the quality of its teaching staff, and a proven pedagogical model that it now seeks to translate into a digital environment with powerful technological platforms, interactive tools, and advanced learning management systems. Furthermore, an internal strategic analysis reveals that the center possesses valuable, rare, hard-to-imitate, and well-organized resources, providing it with a sustainable competitive advantage to navigate the transition to e-learning. The required technological infrastructure includes not only videoconferencing platforms and digital repositories, but also communication systems, cybersecurity, technical support, and educational analytics, all essential to ensuring a seamless and reliable experience.
