This paper will refer to the strategic direction and international investments of FAGE Group, one of the most valuable players in the Greek dairy industry that has managed to gain a solid share in the world market. This study is going to be approached with special reference to discussing how this company is planning its internationalization between Luxembourg and America as investment choices and based on the competitive environment insight provided regarding players operating within the milk sector. Therefore, theoretical tools- Resource-Based View, Porter's Five Forces Model, OLI Paradigm, and Uppsala Model will be used by this study to determine motivation, challenges, and strategic options set about internationalization. The analysis from the financial data for a decade illustrates resilience from FAGE, an improvement in profitability plus premium positioning which provides strategic diversification. Results prove that internationalization has worked as a lever to enhance competitiveness, whereas it brings forward future challenges about product diversification, innovation, and sustainability. It is a dual contribution to filling the gaps in academic research about business internationalization strategy and understanding the strategy practices that can be leveraged by companies in the food industry.
