| dc.description.abstract | Η διπλωματική εργασία μελετά την εξέλιξη του προγράμματος επιθεώρησης δεξαμενόπλοιων SIRE, εστιάζοντας στη μετάβαση από το παραδοσιακό SIRE στο νέο πλαίσιο SIRE 2.0. Η μελέτη αναλύει τις αλλαγές που φέρνει το SIRE 2.0, όπως η έμφαση στη συμπεριφορά του πληρώματος, η αξιολόγηση της ηγεσίας και η ενσωμάτωση της ψηφιοποίησης και της κυβερνοασφάλειας. Επιπλέον, εξετάζεται η επίδραση αυτών των αλλαγών στις εταιρείες διαχείρισης πλοίων και στις στρατηγικές που αναπτύσσουν για συμμόρφωση με τα νέα πρότυπα. Η εργασία βασίζεται σε συνεντεύξεις με στελέχη του ναυτιλιακού κλάδου και ανάλυση εγγράφων, ενώ παρέχει προτάσεις για ενίσχυση της εκπαίδευσης και της οργανωτικής κουλτούρας με στόχο τη βελτίωση της ασφάλειας και της διαχείρισης κινδύνου στον ναυτιλιακό τομέα. | el |

It highlights the significant changes introduced by SIRE 2.0, such as the focus on crew behavior, leadership evaluation, digitalization, and cybersecurity preparedness. The study investigates the operational and organizational challenges faced by tanker management companies in adapting to SIRE 2.0’s multi-dimensional requirements. Through interviews with industry professionals and document analysis, the thesis identifies key strategies for effective implementation, including enhanced training, leadership development, and proactive risk management. The research emphasizes the need for a shift from procedural compliance to a culture of continuous learning and performance-based safety standards. Ultimately, the study offers practical recommendations to help shipping companies strengthen their safety management systems and maintain high safety and environmental standards in line with modern industry expectations. | el |
