| dc.description.abstractEN | This study’s purpose is to explore whether nuclear power could be used as a transitory fuel during the Green Transition. It examines the advantages and disadvantages of nuclear power, as well as the opportunities and challenges for its expansion in light of the turbulent geopolitical circumstances that the world currently faces. It also discusses whether new technologies, such as small modular reactors, could be proven crucial to expanding the share of nuclear power in the global energy mix. Finally, this analysis uses the main theories of international relations and the practicality of game theory to predict if and to what extent the expansion of civilian nuclear power could lead to conflicts. | el |
