This Master’s thesis explored the technique of brain stimulation through acoustic waves as a therapeutic approach for Alzheimer’s disease, focusing on the assessment of its clinical benefits and their economic evaluation. The study examined caregivers’ willingness to pay (WTP) for the continuation of the non-invasive TPS (Transcranial Pulse Stimulation) method, while simultaneously attempting to link their subjective economic valuation with clinical and functional parameters. A total of 42 caregivers of patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease who had received TPS treatment participated in the study. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire, which recorded demographic characteristics of patients and caregivers, clinical and functional variables related to the course of the disease, as well as their attitudes toward treatment cost and WTP. The factors influencing WTP were analyzed using a logistic regression model that included the following variables: patient age, educational level, household income (above €1,500), and the EQ-5D-3L quality-of-life index. The overall model was not found to be statistically significant (LR χ²(4) = 4.25, p = 0.3726), with a pseudo R² of 0.0881, indicating limited explanatory power.
