A detailed examination of the treaty's progression is provided, emphasizing its main principles and goals, such as area-based management and environmental impact assessments. The thesis assesses next how the treaty could improve the protection of marine biodiversity by examining studies on Marine Protected Areas and sustainable-use practices. The conclusion evaluates the benefits and limitations of the treaty, emphasizing that its success will rely on global collaboration and enforcement.
