The object of this work is the presentation and evaluation of changes that took place in the Health System of Greece after 2010. The Greek economy was catalyzed by the global financial crisis that took place in 2008. As a result of this event, Greece experienced the greatest economic recession since World War II and was driven, in April 2010, at the signing of the first memorandum. In the context of this treaty, policies of austerity and economic reformation were implemented in all sectors of the Greek state and of course in the health sector. This work aims to thoroughly report and analyze the most important reforms and legislative interventions that have been implemented in the field of health since the beginning of the financial crisis until today, as well as their consequences on the sustainability, efficiency, and accessibility of the Greek Health System. The methodology used to prepare this work is a combination of literature review and research approach.Within the framework of this book, a thorough recording of the concept of health and how it has evolved over time is first carried out.
