Abstract

In modern societies, health insurance is especially important as it can protect the citizen from financial burdens, which arise as a result of loss of health of a person whether this loss comes from an accident or from an illness. In addition, another important advantage given by health insurance is the case of permanent health loss, where in this case it offers a decent standard of living, as it covers its medical care and also covers part of the financial damage caused to the person due to disability. work. Every health and social security system should be characterized by clinical effectiveness, efficiency, social justice and equality. The purpose of this bibliographic work was the extensive study of the country's insurance system, comparison with other models of European countries and beyond, as well as a description of private insurance and how it can be involved in the public social security system. This study concludes that the evolution of insurance systems worldwide is in a recession, since the problems of each system have been identified for many years by various societies and government agencies, but the changes that occur are the minimum.
