This Diploma Thesis deals with the Foreign Direct Investments that take place in Cyprus.
The first chapter introduces the concept of Foreign Direct Investment by giving basic definitions and at the same time presenting the forms and types of FDI by recording their inflows and outflows. In addition, we analyze the factors that affect FDI.
The second chapter presents the economic situation in Cyprus and how it was affected by the economic crisis and the debt crisis that hit many European countries.
The third chapter contains figures and charts that provide information on which countries are investing in Cyprus and more specifically for Greece.
Finally, the fourth chapter summarizes the conclusions and gives an overall view of thestudy.
