Contracts are a very important part in this highly competitive and globalized environment. Businesses, particularly supply chain gives a very significant weight in their management in order to reduce the risk that is generated by the environment. Certainly as subsequent changes its influence in the organizational structure of the enterprise. For this purpose the companies developed the administration of contracts so that they can observe and improve the process of negotiating, drafting and feedback.
Particularly the logistics, have been strongly influenced by the conventions. The most common form of the influence of the contracts regarding the outsourcing of logistics activities related to other providers. The most common form is outsourcing providers 3PL, who also undertake the full range of pure logistics activity. The scale under which this outsourcing is the cost and time-saving, low freezing of funds, the focus of the business functions that generate competitive advantage and achieve flexibility.
The analysis has shown that the main benefit in terms of risk management regards the spreading of costs and transforming fixed costs of logistics operations in variable through outsourcing. Also, companies in the sector from an organizational point of view tend to maintain the comparative advantage assigning functions to external third-party providers, who have a comparative advantage activities.
