The way by which the health care of patients is faced, varies according to its social,
environmental, epidemiological, and technological changes. The increasing rate of
ageing population in accordance with the raising of life expectancy"European Commission
1999" makes the services of the health care system all the more necessary.
An organized system of Primary Health Care (PHC) could offer significant benefits
on the issues of medical efficiency and financial profitability both on the range of
managing morbidity and on the management of chronic diseases. Basic pillar of a complete
primary health care system consists of the home care health services, through
which the respect of the patient's private life is assured, as well as the avoidance of any
unnecessary transportation-discomfort.
In this field study there has been an attempt to approach the aspect of home
medical imaging (home radio-diagnosis) analysing the department together with its supplied
services as well as presenting its new developing strategies.
