Competition Policy and Competition Law have considerable received over the past half
century academic, political and legal approach for various countries and international
constitutions and unions. In this approach Competition Policy and its theory, methodology
and history.
This approach focuses mainly on the presentation of margin / price squeeze practice, and
the presentation of various models used by regulatory authorities and national courts of
countries for detection of such violations of Competition Law. Also, several cases of
margin/price squeeze in various countries and their conclusions are presented.
This paper using the theory of Competition Policy in general and focusing on margin/price
squeeze and its aspects through time combined, can be considered a tool for anyone who
wants to study in greater depth the Competition Policy in the field of margin/price squeeze
and a basis for understanding any future commercial, economic, even political development.
Finally, in the era of postmodernity, has become evident the usefulness of scientists or as
they are called in the political arena, technocrats, to interpret specialized scientific issues at
institutional level, which through state or international institutions will form the basis of
future regulatory frameworks for a legit Competition Policy continuum. The subject of this
study and regarding the historical importance of competition in economics from the classical
thinkers until today will be the future benchmark in addressing the abuse of economic power
in modern capitalism by the regulatory authorities of international organizations or
institutions subordinate each State separately.
