The purpose of this study is to analyze the remote service freight forwarder as a key factor in the circuit of the charter. The methodology of the project was based on conducting primary and secondary research. Primary research was qualitative and was conducted using the interview as a basic tool. Secondary research was conducted through searching literature in books, articles in magazines, and on official websites about current market conditions, recent developments in the cost of shipping services, recent trends and implications and perspectives on service of the freight forwarder as a key factor in chartering.
The main findings of the study showed that today shipping is on a decline due to industrial and consumer crisis. Moreover, the imbalance between demand and supply, which as the years go by shows more and more differentiation, that increased supply and reduced demand justifies the industry crisis.
